PHNOM PENH, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen left here on Thursday for a four-day visit to Nepal, where he will witness the signing ceremony of three agreements, a senior official said.

"This is the first-ever official visit of the prime minister to Nepal," Sry Thamarong, a minister attached to the prime minister, told reporters at the Phnom Penh International Airport.

"Through this visit, I believe that the relationship between our two countries will be enhanced, especially in trade and tourism," the minister said.

According to the minister, Hun Sen will hold a bilateral meeting with Nepalese Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli on Thursday afternoon before the two leaders witness the signing ceremony of three documents.

The minister said that one document is the air transport agreement, another is the agreement on visa exemptions for diplomatic and official passport holders, and the other is the memorandum of understanding on political consultations between the two foreign ministries.

During the official visiting, the Cambodian prime minister will also attend the Asia-Pacific Summit 2018-Nepal on Dec. 1.
